The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation upholds ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in prevention of emergencies fires and liquidation of their consequences in populated areas where the objects of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation are located on the territory of Ukraine

It was noted that the Agreement determines general principles and framework of cooperation in prevention and liquidation of consequences of emergencies and procedures for providing mutual coordinated assistance by the parties of the Agreement in case of an emergency on the territory of Ukraine.

 

Members of the Committee believe that implementation of Agreement provisions would determine general principles and framework of cooperation in prevention and liquidation of consequences of emergencies and procedures for providing mutual coordinated assistance by the parties of the Agreement in case of an emergency on the territory of Ukraine.
