The Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations discussed a number of legislative and organizational issues

In particular, the Committee supported the Proposals of the President of Ukraine  to the Law “On Development of Production and Consumption of Biological Fuels” adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on 24.05 2012 (the respective bill was registered under No. 0978).  The law determines legal, economic, environmental, social and organizational principles of production and consumption of biological energy feedstock and biochemical methods of its processing. It is aimed at creation of the necessary preconditions for organization and legal regulation of turnaround of such fuels in Ukraine.

 

Members of the Committee supported also the Proposals of the President of Ukraine to the Law “To amend the Law of Ukraine “On State Support of Agriculture in Ukraine” adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on 04.07.2012 (the respective bill was registered under No. 0980).

 

In addition, the Committee resolved to propose the Verkhovna Rada to determine its position in regard to support of the Proposals of the President of Ukraine to the Law “To amend article 3 of the Law of Ukraine “On State Support of Agriculture in Ukraine” re regulation of milk prices” adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on 07.06.2012 (the respective bill was registered under No. 0981).

 

The Committee considered also organizational issues.
