The Organized Crime Control and Anti-Corruption Committee held an organizational meeting

A number of decisions were adopted, particularly, regarding establishment of subcommittees and their jurisdiction, organizing Committee’s meetings, order of considering citizens’ and legal entities’ appeals, as well as requests for information.  

 

People’s deputies agreed to establish six subcommittees and introduced their heads.

 

The issue of establishing Public Expert Council at the Committee was also being discussed.

 

V.Chumak, the Committee Chair, stressed the necessity of ensuring “highly effective work of the Committee to execute legislative and control functions, especially what concerns anti-corruptive issues, as well as issues pertaining to the activity of special units for combating corruption and organized crime”.
