The First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ihor Kalyetnik met with the delegation of public organizations of Vinnytsya region, headed by the chair of Vinnytsya Regional Council Serhiy Tatusiak on Wednesday.
I.Kayetnik greeted his fellow citizens with Saint Nicholas Day and positively evaluated the initiative of the meeting that gives the possibility to communicate, feel the problems of regions and do everything possible to establish positive situation in the society, economy, and generally in the state.
The Deputy Chairman of the Parliament stressed that it is important to support the course taken by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Particularly, the course of increasing the role of parliamentary committees, mandatory involvement of experts and professionals, as well as best practices of NGOs, business associations, associations of local self-government authorities.
He stressed that political forces represented in the Verkhovna Rada should understand that “political ambitions should not outweigh parliamentary work”.
I.Kalyetnik emphasized that it is important “to “launch” full and productive work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine as soon as possible”. He noted thereat that there is “orientation towards fruitful work” in the political parties.
