The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law “On amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine”

The Law amends article 26 of the current law and provides the following version of the part one of this article:

 

“1. People’s deputies are registered personally before the beginning of each plenary meeting. Registration shall be based on presentation of people’s deputy’s certificate and personal signature. People’s deputy is registered in the session hall with the help of the electronic system, in a way that prevents a people’s deputy from being registered by another person”.

 

The Law provides new versions of clause 1 of part two of article 37, and of article 47, part 3. The latter is also supplemented with part four, preventing a people’s deputy from blocking consideration of the agenda items.

 

The law comes into force on the day following the day of its publication.  

 

The respective bill was registered under No. 11468-1.
