STATEMENT OF THE PRESS SERVICE OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE REGARDING MISINFORMATION ON THE WORK OF THE PARLIAMENTARY CANTEEN
On November 29, a number of Internet publications disseminated information regarding the events allegedly taking place in the parliamentary canteen. Particularly, about a waitress, who allegedly spat in the food of people’s deputies.
Unfortunately, domestic media and Internet publications increasingly frequently publish information that is unreliable, unprofessional, unverified or tinged with one-sided accusations. So happened this time, when the attention of society was drawn to the false fact.
We inform that the waitress Yuliya Borshchenko has never worked in the canteens of the Verkhovna Rada and none of the workers of the food unit was dismissed according to the abovementioned article during the sixth convocation.
Threat, we stress that even the most demanding in terms of food people’s deputies, have never complained the quality of food in the Verkhovna Rada, including V.Matvieyev.
