In particular, the Committee recognized the bill to amend article 374 of the Customs Code of Ukraine (re social protection of Chornobyl cleanup veterans) (Reg. No. 11293) as non-contradictory to Ukraine’s obligations within the WTO.
The Committee determined that the issues belonging to the sphere of legal regulation of the bill are governed by the Law “On Ratification of the Protocol Protocol of Accession of Ukraine to the World Trade Organization.”
Members of the Committee concluded that provisions of the bill do not contradict Ukraine’s obligations within the WTO.
The Committee recognized also the bill to amend the Law “On State Procurement” re securing government contracts for public organizations of disabled persons” (Reg. No. 11271) as non-contradictory to the legislation of the European Union.
Members of the Committee determined that by the subject of legal regulation the bill belongs to the sphere of state procurement which is governed in the European Legislation by the Directive 2004/17/EC coordinating the procurement procedures of entities operating in the water, energy, transport and postal services sectors and the Directive 97/67/EC of the European Parliament and Council on common rules for the development of the internal market of Community postal services and the improvement of quality of service.
The Committee concluded that provisions of the bill do not contradict the legislation of the European Union.
