The bill (Reg. No. 0286) aims at determining competent body to grant motion picture films the status of co-production products in Ukraine through delineation of powers between the State Ukrainian Film Agency and the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
The bill stipulates determining the State Ukrainian Film Agency the competent body in granting motion picture films the status of co-production products in Ukraine.
Committee members emphasized that the European Convention on Cinematographic Co-Production is among the list of the European Council Agreements.
The Committee concluded that the bill corresponds to Ukrainian commitment made to the Council of Europe.
