To everyone working in the sphere of automobile transport
and public road system of Ukraine
Please, accept my greetings on the professional holiday of everyone whose main duty is to ensure adequate and productive working rhythm and dynamic development of country’s transport system. The Day of Motorist, paying tribute to he merits of people working in the sphere, reminds us of the importance of maintaining the network of Ukrainian roads, as well as increasing efficiency and security of their use.
Transport and its infrastructure constitute the fundamental sphere, on which all vital activity of the country is based. Therefore, it should function and improve with consideration of modern requirements, needs and tasks, as well as logics, guidelines and aims of further development. That is, it should work for the future constantly and actively.
The topicality of this imperative is reinforced by the fact that hardships and complicated issues that go hand in hand with obvious positive developments have, apart from negative economic effects, also acute social and human dimensions. This leads to burning necessity to find qualitatively new approaches, maximum discipline and responsibility in the great, complicated and expensive cause that has been entrusted to you.
I am sure and I wish our motorists and people working in public transport system to be at the top of their professional and social calling.
