The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada hopes that the new Parliament will be structural and responsible.

V.Lytvyn said this answering the questions of the TV channel “Rada” on Thursday.

The Chairman of the Parliament said that “it is more or less settled who and to what faction will belong. It is absolutely clear who will become a deputy by party lists. The majority of majority deputies have also made their minds”. “That is why I think any major collapses, or the so called “Brownian movement, are hardly possible,” V.Lytvyn stressed. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada expressed an idea that majority deputies will not allow deputies elected by party lists forget about their responsibility before voters. “You need to work with people constantly, to listen and implement what they need, otherwise it may come to no good for a deputy,” he added.

V.Lytvyn noted that the situation in Ukraine should improve after the elections. He believes that there is a need to analyze the real state of affairs, hold a serious dialogue, and determine the best and most acceptable for the society and people, ways of further development of foreign and domestic policy. After that, he said, we will need to get down to practical work to realize coordinated approaches for development of Ukraine and society.

Speaking on operation of the current Verkhovna Rada in November this year, V.Lytvyn noted that its main task is to adopt the State Budget for 2013. “We badly need it till December 1 this year. It should be the budget of development that would maximally take into account the commitments of the state,” he said.
