On Tuesday, October 16, the Parliament will be working until all agenda items are considered, and that means working by 8 or 9 p.m. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn expressed such opinion on Monday, answering the journalists’ questions.
He noted thereat that “most probably, there is not much willingness to prolong the sitting of the Parliament, therefore there were proposals to select the bills that are not agitational and pertain to economic issues.” The Head of the Parliament reminded that over 80 issues were proposed for inclusion into the agenda, “and it is unreal to consider so many documents in one day.”
He said that the Verkhovna Rada will have two full-fledged plenary weeks in November. V. Lytvyn assumed that “there will be no obstacles for adequate work” after the elections.
