The Committee on Construction, Urban Development, Housing and Communal Services and Regional Policy recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the bill to amend several laws of Ukraine regarding associations of co-owners of multi-story building

The bill (Reg. No. 11264), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, suggests establishing terminological correspondence of the Law "On Association of Co-Owners of Multi-Storey Building" with civil legislation.

 

The bill includes provisions regarding individual maintenance of its needs in keeping and exploiting dwelling by the association, as well as establishing relations with the producers of housing and municipal services.   

 

The bill suggests settling the mechanism for calculating benefits and subsidies to pay for housing and municipal services.  

 

The Committee members upheld the bill, adoption of which, according to them, will allow increase effectiveness of implementing measures to establish and ensure operation of associations of co-owners of multi-storey building; use state and local budget funds to ensure establishing and operation of associations of co-owners of multi-storey building more effectively; increase the quality of municipal services, etc.
