The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation recommends that the Parliament should reject the bill to amend several legislative acts of Ukraine (re simplification of issuing procedure of special permits for subsurface use

The bill (Reg. No. 11070) is aimed at optimization of the procedure of issuing special permits for using subsurface resources of national importance by assigning approval of motions into the competence of local state administrations instead of regional ones, and Kyiv and Sevastopol City Administrations.

Members of the Committee believe that the proposed bill is inconsistent with the article 140 of the Constitution of Ukraine.
