Ukraine should be for those who live in it. This was stressed by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada answering the questions of “Rada” TV channel viewers on Wednesday.

“We should first of all do everything possible that people could feel themselves human beings in Ukraine. I think that then we will be respected in Ukraine and the world will respect us,” he stressed.

V.Lytvyn hopes that people will make their responsible and conscientious choice on October 28 “to avoid another wave of disillusionment”. At the same time, he noted that “honestly, I have almost no grounds for such optimism”.

Answering the question whether Ukraine will lose “its last potential – land” he said that “nobody hurries to come to Ukraine and purchase its land” and “the land market can obtain its right to life only after the law on the land market is adopted”. Today, there is no such law in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The Parliament did not include it into the agenda since the adoption of such law is premature, V.Lytvyn noted.
