On Wednesday, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada during the live interview on Rada TV channel noted that people have not yet made their minds regarding political preferences during parliamentary elections. “It is impossible to give an unambiguous answer. Different people have different motivation, - he said. – Somebody prefers, let’s say, politician, his posture, others prefer those, to whom we may refer as “political playboys”, still others pay attention to eloquence, somebody is bored of the same faces – they want somebody different”.

V.Lytvyn stressed that there are no “dominant moods” in the society regarding candidates. He believes that people will make their choice during the last two weeks before elections.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada noted that people’s interests in regions differ from the themes discussed in media. According to him, people who live outside the capital “care about the problems connected with job and welfare – absence of roads, bus connection, and basic living conditions”.

V.Lytvyn stressed that people care about health problems, savings, medicine, “the present and the future” of their children. “Unfortunately, both in media and in political environment a great detachment from real-life needs can be observed”. “Only topics of less significance to people usually are being discussed. We should pay great attention to this issue,” the Chairman of the Parliament stressed.
