The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law “To amend several legislative acts of Ukraine regarding economic obligations”

The legislative act amends the Code of Economic Procedure, Economic and Civil Codes of Ukraine, as well as the Laws “On renewal of paying capacity of a debtor or recognition of his bankruptcy” and “On enforcement proceedings” that are aimed at specification of consequences of recognizing credit agreements, procedure of readjustment plan, etc. as invalid.
Particularly, the Civil Code is supplemented by article 1057-1 regarding legal effects of invalidity of a credit agreement.
The respective bill was registered under No. 11029.
