The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation upholds the bill to amend several legislative acts of Ukraine regarding powers of the National Commission for State Regulation in the Sphere of Utility Services

The bill (Reg. No. 11030) amends the laws “On State Regulation of Utility Services”, “On Drinking Water and Drinking Water Supply”, and on “Utility Services” to specify the powers of the National Commission for State Regulation in the Sphere of Utility Services in regard to approval of methods of forming the tariffs for services in the sphere of heating supply, centralized water supply and water disposal for all economic agents providing such services regardless of the body licensing such economic activity, approving investment programs of companies  providing services in the sphere or heating supply, centralized water supply and water disposal, and determining the procedure for placing funds to special account, using these funds and supervising their spending.

Members of the Committee believe that implementation of provisions of the bill would allow for improvement of the system of stimulating investment activity of economic agents that are licensed by the Commission.
