The Committee on European Integration recognized the bill to amend article 8 of the Law "On Collection and Register of Single Contributions to Mandatory State Social Insurance" (re the list of persons who pay single contribution) as non-contradicting to the legislation of the European Union and Ukraine’s international legal obligations

 The bill (Reg.No.11082) aims at refining the order of paying the increased amount of single contribution by separate categories of persons. It suggests specifying provision of part 9, article 8 Of the Law "On Collection and Register of Single Contributions to Mandatory State Social Insurance". Particularly, it is suggested supplement the provision by the range of the following laws: "On Diplomatic Service", "On Court Expertise", "On Court System and the Status of Judges", "On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine" and the Tax Code of Ukraine. Apart from this, the bill provides clarification regarding payment of the increased amount of the single contribution only from primary employment earnings.

The Committee determined that by the subject of legal regulation the bill belongs to labor safety sphere which is governed in the European Union by the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, and the European Social Charter (Revised).

Members of the Committee concluded that the provisions of the bill do not contradict the laws of the European Union and Ukraine’s international legal obligations.
