On Friday, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine participates in the celebration of the Day of Baranivka town and Yemilchyne village in Zhytomyr region

Addressing the residents of Baranivka V.Lytvyn noted: "To have the possibility to participate in such festive events, and come back to parental thresholds of your memory, your ancestry is a great happiness".
He said that "wise, brave and noble persons who make the skeleton and foundation of Ukrainian people lived and flourished here, in Polissya".
On the eve of celebrations dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Zhytomyr region foundation, V.Lytvyn noted that "the very fact of its appearance testified the triumph of truth, since the residents of this region have always been the guardians and builders of the Ukrainian land". "It is a great pleasure to bow to the honorary freemen, who created the glory of the region," he added.
The Chairman of the Parliament stressed that today "Ukraine needs a dialogue, we need understanding". He is convinced that "at the interface of different views, believes, and cultural preferences it is possible to find the only way out to reach excellent result".
The Head of the Parliament believes also that it is important "to
preserve the essence, spiritual basis, faith and moral of a person in the
modern world". In this context, he stressed the necessity to support young
people and provide possibilities for them to realize their talents.
V.Lytvyn greeted the winners of regional sports competitions.
