The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Lytvyn does not see any reasons for repeated consideration of resignation of the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by the Parliament.
“I do not see any reasons for repeated consideration of this issue,” he said. “Moreover, I do not think that anyone would be willing to become the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for two month that are left by the end of work of the Verkhovna Rada of this cadence,” he said answering the journalists’ questions in Zhytomyr region.
V. Lytvyn believes that it is more important for the Parliament to be efficient. In this context, he informed that over 1050 bills, 240 of which are ready for consideration in the first and second readings, have been submitted.
According to him, “there is work for the Verkhovna Rada.” He stressed that the key task is to adopt the budget for the next year.
