To all those working in the coal industry of Ukraine
Please, accept my sincere greetings on the Miner Day the holiday that has become a national one. It has become the sign of general attention and honor in regard to representatives of your profession. This profession is difficult, complicated and dangerous, but it is also extremely important for our state, economy, and people.
The history of miner generations was and is being written by labor merits, heroism and buoyancy of conquerors of bowels of the earth, and their adherence to their cause. It is here that the traditions of high consciousness and high-powered work live and work as a manifestation of uttermost patriotism acquiring new qualities by merging with up-to-date factors to advance progress and increase efficiency of coal industry. The honoured miners keep confirming their right to be the working guard of Ukraine. We are very grateful for this.
Apart from state support of modernization of production and technical facilities at coal mining enterprises, and solution of social problems of miners and their families, attempts to improve miners? labor security, and lessen injury and death rates in mines have become more active. The priority social aim is to minimize such price of coal mining in a targeted way.
I wish you much energy, optimism, and determination to reach new heights.
