The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation recommends that the Parliament should adopt as basis the bill to amend article 22 of the Law "On Game Husbandry and Hunting" to ensure the rights of citizens for use of wildlife objects

The bill (Reg.No.10588) suggests specifying the order of assigning private land plots for hunting purposes.  In view of this article 22 of the Law "On Game Husbandry and Hunting" is to be amended. The changes adjust the rights of owners and users of land plots regarding granting the right to hunt on their land plots.

According to the bill, "hunting grounds for hunting management are provided for use by the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as well as Kyiv and Sevastopol city councils.

Hunting grounds are given to use for the term not less than 15 years.

The territory of game husbandries should be not less than three thousand hectares but not more than 35 per cent of the total territory of Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol hunting grounds.

Preferential rights to use hunting grounds have:

owners and permanent users of land plots;

users of hunting grounds, that prolong the term of usage of these land plots".
