The Committee on Economic Policy recommends that the Parliament should adopt in the second reading and in entirety the bill to amend the Law "On the Regulating Goods Exchange (barter) Transactions in Foreign Economic Activity"

The bill (Reg.No.10020) aims at simplifying regulation of foreign economic activity.

According to the bill "the goods imported under the barter agreement are to be transformed into the customs territory of Ukraine within the terms specified in this contract but not later than 180 calendar days from the date customs clearance (the date of the customs declaration for export) of goods that are actually exported under barter agreement and in case of barter agreement of work and services - upon signing the act or another document testifying to the execution of works and services.

The Committee members believe that the implementation of provisions of the bill will allow for improving the system of regulating goods exchange (barter) transactions in foreign economic activity.
