The Committee on Industrial and Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship recommends that the Parliament should adopt in the second reading and in entirety the bill "On recognizing machine building a priority industry of Ukraine"

The goal of the bill (Reg. No. 9310) is to arrange favourable conditions to use the industrial, scientific-technical, and export potential of the machine building of Ukraine, and to raise competitive ability of machine building by granting privileges to the machine building entities and streamlining the customs procedures.

 

The bill recognizes machine building a priority industry of Ukraine, and grants tax holidays to the machine building entities from January 1, 2012 to January 1, 2020.

 

While preparing the bill to the second reading, members of the Committee received 15 proposals from subjects of legislative initiative. All of them were taken into consideration.
