During the last plenary week of the current session the Parliament plans to consider 120 issues mainly of economic character.

 

This was announced by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Lytvyn answering journalists? questions on Saturday.

 

Among them, the Chairman of the Parliament named legislative acts regarding assuring protection and quality of medicines as well as changes to the State Budget in the part of social expenditures enlargement.

 

He says that around 30 bills will be considered in the second reading.

 

V.Lytvyn is on a working visit in Novohrad-Volynsk and Baraniv districts of Zhytomyr region on Saturday.

 

He discussed the prospect of gas pipeline construction with the communities of Striyev, Kyianka and Kanuny villages.

 

The question regarding the development of medical industry of the district was discussed while communicating with medical staff of Baraniv hospital.

 

During the meeting with the teaching staff of Baraniv secondary school No.2 they discussed the prospects for increasing teachers? salaries, improving logistics provisions of schools as well as improvement of educational curriculums.

 

The Head of the Parliament visited also Maryaniv Glass Factory where he examined the technological cycle of production and quality control system.
