On Tuesday Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn held a meeting with the leaders of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat.

 

The participants of the meeting discussed legislative work of the parliament during the ninth session, as well as the relevant tasks allotted to the departments of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat.

 

Among the top-priority bills, V. Lytvyn named the draft Code of the Criminal Procedure of Ukraine and the bill on the land market. The total of 830 issues is suggested to be placed on the session agenda.

 

The participants also discussed several aspects of international activity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in part of organization of official visits and work of the delegations at the international parliamentary institutions.

 

The head of the parliament issued a number of commissions and instructions following the results of the meeting.
