The committee secretariat reported that committee members drew up and brought forward the bill "On amendments to the Law "On mandatory state social insurance in relation to the temporary loss of working capacity and expenses due to burial" (re preservation of insurance record of the insured persons on leave for the care of a child under 3 years of age) (Reg. No. 8776). The committee recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt this bill as a basis and in its entirety.
The committee also brought forward the bill on amendments to the Law "On mandatory state social insurance in relation to the temporary loss of working capacity and expenses due to burial" (re provision of the insured persons with material support at the enterprises engaged in bankruptcy proceedings) (Reg. No. 8775). The Verkhovna Rada adopted this bill as a law "On amendments to articles 21 and 27 of the Law of Ukraine "On mandatory state social insurance in relation to the temporary loss of working capacity and expenses due to burial" on December 9, 2011. On December 29, 2011, the president of Ukraine vetoed the law and returned it to the Verkhovna Rada.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted the Laws "On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and several legislative acts of Ukraine regarding simplified taxation system, reporting and accounting of small business entities" (Reg. No. 8521) and "On reestablishing debtor's solvency or composition in bankruptcy" (Reg. No. 8531).
The committee considered the report of the Pension Fund of Ukraine concerning the action taken to unify payment of a single fee by different categories of payers, and the outreach campaign about the rights and obligations of the insured under the conditions of a single fee for the mandatory state social insurance.
The committee took into account the report on fulfillment of recommendations of the hearings "Analysis of implementation of the Law "On collection and registration of a single fee for mandatory state social insurance", and decided to listen to another report in April, 2012.
