The Committee on Justice recommends the Parliament to adopt the Bill on Amendments to Clauses 361 and 362 of the Code of Civil Procedure of Ukraine (re Grounds for Revision of Court Judgment)

The primary goal of the bill (Reg. No. 8411) is to support citizen´s right for revision of court judgment or acts of court in view of the newly discovered facts, if the court found a judge (judges), parties, or other individuals guilty of crimes, due to which legal investigation or solution of case resulted in illegitimate or unjustified judgment.

 

Part 2 of clause 361 of the Code of Civil Procedure of Ukraine is supplemented with the provisions, whereby court judgments shall undergo revision, if the applicable court judgment confirmed crimes of a judge (judges), parties, or other individuals, due to which legal investigation or solution of case resulted in illegitimate or unjustified judgment.
