The Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government recommends the Parliament to adopt the Bill on Amendments to Several Laws on Retirement Age for Officers of Diplomatic and State Service and Local Self-Government as a Basis and in Entirety

The bill (Regt. No9266) establishes the maximum retirement age for the public servants, local self-government and diplomatic service officers at the rate of 65 years.

 

According to the participants of the meeting, the bill is aimed at "establishing of social fairness towards separate categories of working citizens though regulation of issue on maximum retirement age in the period before the adoption of new legislation on state service" that envisages maximum retirement age at the rate of 65 years.
