Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stays on Sunday with the Working Visit in Zhytomyr Region (Chervonoarmiyskyi District).

In Chervonoarmiyskyi town Volodymyr Lytvyn participated in celebrations on the occasion of the Chervonoarmiysk District Day, visited exhibition of craftsman and agricultural achievements of the district.

 

Greeting the citizens V. Lytvyn stated that that "have always been distinguished by their simplicity and kindness." "Today, on the eve of 20th anniversary of Ukraine´s independence, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to numerous generations of our fellow citizens, who used to work for and defend our Motherland and made a great contribution to national agricultural industry", he announced.

V. Lytvyn also tanked all the citizens who "has hope and continue their hard but noble work in the region."

According to the Head of the Parliament, 20 Years of independence have proven an objective fact: Ukraine has made itself as a state, though the state should be filled with real qualitative content.

Discussion during the pres conference problems and perspectives of the Zhytomyr region development, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada f Ukraine stated that its key problems are provision of gas supply and road construction.

"Of course, there are a lot of other problems, though we should define priorities and implement the essential tasks", he stressed. Volodymyr Lytvyn positively evaluated that the leaders of the state "are working as a single team." "The process is time-consuming though the work is being continued, budget funds are being allocated for the needs o region and are directed for the region development", he stated.

The Head of the Parliament handed certificate "mother-heroine" to the representatives of the Chervonoarmiysk region and give presents to the newly wedded couple and a family couple that has celebrated ‘golden´ wedding.

V. Lytvyn shall also visit Skoboliv village where he will visit Regina farming enterprise.
