The committee recommends passing the draft resolution on celebrating the 25th anniversary of establishment of the State-Owned Institution "Scientific Center of Nuclear Medicine of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" (Kyiv) (Reg. No. 8761).
As reported, the Scientific Center of Nuclear Medicine was established on October 1, 1986 after Chornobyl disaster. Today, the Scientific Center of Nuclear Medicine is a chief research establishment of the National Academy of Medical Sciences and the Ministry of Healthcare which deals with nuclear medicine and radiobiology. The center cooperates with the World Health Organization on medical readiness and assistance in radiation accidents.
The committee also recommends the parliament to pass the draft resolution on celebrating the 125th anniversary of establishment of the State-Owned Institution "I.I.Mechnikov Institute of Microbiology and Immunology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" (Kharkiv) (Reg. No. 8762).
As reported, the State-Owned Institution "I.I.Mechnikov Institute of Microbiology and Immunology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" is one of the oldest epidemiological research establishments in the world.
