The Committee on Culture and Spirituality recommends the Parliament to pass the resolutions on celebrating the 150th anniversary of Mykola Pymonenko (Reg. No. 9060), and on celebrating the 100th anniversary of Andrii Malyshko (Reg. No. 9061).
The 150th birthday anniversary of a prominent Ukrainian painter Mykola Pymonenko is celebrated on March 9, 2012; the 100th birthday anniversary of Andrii Malyshko, prominent Ukrainian poet and translator, laureate of Taras Shevchenko State Award of Ukrainian SSR and USSR State Award is celebrated on November 15, 2012.
The resolutions envisage organizational-legal measures to celebrate anniversaries on the state level.
The committee recommends the State Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine to organize media outreach campaign dedicated to the celebration of anniversaries.
