The bill (Reg. No. 9022) lifts the requirement for the economic entities to submit a written extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Sole Proprietors to the licensing body to obtain a license. The bill obliges the specially authorized body in charge of state registration to provide an unobstructed access to the data from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Sole Proprietors on its official website.

The Committee members emphasised that the provisions of the bill do not contradict European Parliament and Council Directive 95/46/EC on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

Moreover, the Committees members stressed that the provisions of the bill regarding procedural peculiarities of the licensing of business activity in the EU are being regulated by domestic law legislation of member-countries.
