The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Military Duty and Military Service" regarding Military Commitment

The bill (Reg. No.8362), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers, introduces a new type of military service - call-up liability in the special period.

 

The provisions of the bills connected with the introduction of a new type of military service - call-up liability in the special period should be harmonized with the Laws "On Defense in Ukraine" and "On Mobilization Training and Mobilization." The legal regime of a new military service type shall be specified.
