The primary purpose of the law is to strengthen legal and organizational tools in the sphere of counteraction to the illegal turnover and abuse of drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors. The law offers a new version of clause 9 of the applicable law, which determines the actions against drug-related crimes, and sets the authorities of the executive and local self-government bodies concerning suspension or termination of work of public establishments, where a systematic consumption or sale of drugs or psychotropic substances takes place.
