"Judicial sentence to the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko is an unexpected expectedness," said Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn.
At the press conference in Lviv, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared, "It is an unexpected expectedness, as everybody has been talking about that, and today it happened."
However, the Head of the Parliament did not comment on the expectable participation of Yu. Tymoshenko in the coming parliamentary elections, as appeals will be filed against the judgments of the court of first instance.
He informed that the bill on decriminalization of economic crimes is being adjusted for the second reading. According to the Head of the Parliament, this bill might be adopted, if the People´s Deputies reach a compromise.
