"It is with deep sorrow that the Ukrainian parliament members have learned of the numerous casualties in the result of natural calamity tropical storm Nesat," the telegrams read.
On behalf of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and himself, Volodymyr Lytvyn conveyed sincere condolences to the bereaved families and wished rapid recovery to the injured.
