The Law strengthens financial support of research and research-technical activity, introducing program-oriented funding.
The Law improves conceptual structure of the effective law (defines and specifies particular terms), and sets the principles of financial support of research and research-technical activity.
The Law supplements clause 1 (principal terms and their definitions) of the effective law with the definition of terms 'research-technical (experimental development)', 'research (research-technical) items', 'grant' and a new version of the term 'applied research.'
