The Bill on Pension Reform will be scrutinized only after it is finalized, - V.Lytvyn
The bill on pension reform will be scrutinized only after it is finalized. Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made the foregoing statement at the briefing on Monday.
V.Lytvyn reminded that 600 amendments to the bill were initially submitted. Then their number grew to 900. After 30 June, when the deadline for submitting amendments and proposals passed, their number exceeded 1000.
V.Lytvyn addressed the specialized committee of the Verkhovna Rada with a request to refer the groundwork to the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada Secretariate to finalize the draft. "If the bill is finalized by 16.00 on Thursday, the Verkhovna Rada will start its scrutiny," V.Lytvyn summed up.
