The Law amends clauses 142, 149, 150 and 150-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine to improve criminal legislation on responsibility for crimes against life, health, will, reputation and dignity of a person.
The Law supplements clause 142 by parts 3 and 4:
"3. If the actions envisaged by parts 1, 2 of this clause are repeated or committed by previous concert of a group of persons are punished with restrain of liberty from 3 to 5 years or restrain of liberty for the same term with deprivation of the right to occupy certain offices or to be engaged in certain types of activities for up to 3 years.
4. If the actions envisaged by parts 1, 2, 3 of this clause caused long-term illness or death of a victim or have been committed by the organized group are punished with deprivation of liberty for the term from 3 to 5 years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain offices or to be engaged in certain types of activities for up to 3 years."
The Law also amends clause 149 "Trafficking in human beings or other illegal agreement concerning a person.
