The Committee on Economic Policy recommends the Parliament to adopt the Motions of the President of Ukraine to the Law "On Amendments to Several Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding Public Procurement"

The Law amends several legislative acts of Ukraine to simplify the procedure of procurement, specify the grounds for applying the procurement procedure for one participant, and introduce a new mechanism of applying the procurement procedure for one participant without a permit of the authorized body in charge of public procurement.

 

The motions of the President of Ukraine state that the document supplements part three of clause 2 of the Law "On Public Procurement" with four new provisions.

 

The President of Ukraine suggests excluding the norms on compulsory liability insurance for the participant-winner of purchase procedure if the prepayment defined in the purchase agreement equals or exceeds UAH 10 million.
