The Committee shall work upon the bill on development of biofuel production and consumption (Reg. No7524). The bill regulates biofuel turnover (production and consumption) on the basis of renewable energy sources and biochemical processing methods. It is planned that the state should support biofuel production and consumption, giving economic incentive to biofuel consumption in Ukraine.
The Committee shall also scrutinize the bill on amendments to the Law "On Seeds and Planting Stock" (Reg. No6598). The bill presents a new version of the applicable Law. The bill defines the terms; specifies the bodies in charge of state regulation of seed production and planting stock, respective authorities of the central executive body in charge of agrarian policy; tackles the issues of financial and material-technical support of seed production, establishment of an insurance seed fund, the order of setting up the state reserve seed fund, acquisition of the right for seed production and use, etc.
The bill on amendments to several Legislative Acts of Ukraine (re support of ownership rights for land property leased for agricultural purposes) is also being finalized for the second reading. The document (Reg. No.6290) bans use of land property without establishing its boundaries, receipt of the document which certifies right to it, and state registration. Thus, the Law "On Land Lease" shall be supplemented with the provision defining the term of lease agreement submission for the state registration.
