The Committee on European Integration concluded that the Bill on Purchase of Nuclear Fuel conforms to the European Law

The bill (Reg. No. 8709) regulates purchase of nuclear fuel for the state funds by the economic entities in the sector of nuclear energy use.

 

Under the bill, the customer purchases nuclear fuel for the state funds under the procurement procedure from one participant. The bill regulates publication of information about the participant and the results of the procurement, and specifies the requirements for the form of the purchase agreement.  

 

By the subject of legislative regulation, the bill belongs to the sphere of electric power engineering, including nuclear power engineering. In the European law, this sphere is regulated by the Statutes for the Euratom Supply Agency.

 

The committee members stressed that the bill meets the requirements of these international documents.
