Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, President of PABSEC, attended the Session of the PABSEC Standing Committee

The Session of the PABSEC Standing Committee with the participation of V. Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, President of PABSEC was held before the Thirty Seventh Session of the General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation to be opened in Kyiv on Friday.

 

The Standing Committee, consisting of the heads of the national delegations, members of the Bureau of the Assembly and Chairmen of three Specialized Committees, adopted the agenda of the Assembly and ratified a working plan of the Specialized Committees.

 

V. Lytvyn expressed his gratitude for common work and strengthening of the Assembly's authority.

 

The participants of the meeting listened to the reports on the PABSEC working plan in the second half of 2011, participation of the Assembly representatives in the international inter-parliamentary events, financial and human resources matters.
