The Committee on Fighting Organized Crime and Corruption recommends the Parliament to recommit the Bill on Amendments to Several Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding Counteraction to Illegal Spread of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors

The bill amends the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements, the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the Laws "On Counteraction to Illegal Circulation of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors and their Abuse" and "On Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors."

 

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is authorized to determine small rates of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, large and extremely large rates of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors and also poisonous or potent drugs.

 

In the result of the discussion the Committee members agreed to the conclusions of the Central Scientific-Expert Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate and resolved to recommend the Parliament to scrutinize the bill in the first reading and recommit it.
