Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, started the two-day official visit to the Republic of Armenia.
On July 11-12, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is to meet Hovik A. Abrahamyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Serzh A. Sargsyan, President of the Republic of Armenia, Tigran Sargsyan, Prime Minister of Armenia and His Holiness Garekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
Official delegations of Ukraine and the Republic of Armenia will hold negotiations under the chairmanship of the Head of the Ukrainian and Armenian Parliaments to sign bilateral documents.
Ukrainian delegation will visit the Armenian Genocide Museum-institute named after St. Mesropa Mashotsa in Matenadaran, and Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine V.M. Lytvyn will deliver a speech before the members of the Academy of Science of Armenia and answer the journalists´ questions.
