The Committee on Justice recommends the Parliament to adopt the Bill on Amendments to Clause 96 of the Code of Civil Procedure of Ukraine (re Requests for Issue of the Court Order)

Committee Chairman S.Kivalov stated that the bill (Reg. No. 8156) guarantees equality of procedural rights of the parties in the legal proceedings.

 

The bill amends Clause 96 of the Code of Civil Procedure of Ukraine, which sets the grounds for the issue of the court order, excluding the provisions, whereby the court order can be issued in case the claim is placed for the recovery of the debt for the public utility services, telecommunication services, television and radio broadcasting services with account for the rate of inflation and three per cent of annual interest on the total debt.
