The bill (Reg. No. 7244) amends the Law "On State Registration of the Corporeal Rights to Property and their Encumbrance" to harmonize it with the Civil and the Economic Codes of Ukraine.
The primary goal of the bill is to regulate the transitional period in the sphere of registration of rights to property and their encumbrance. The rights to property arising from the agreements on lease of a building or other permanent structure (its separate part), which are concluded for three years at least, are subject to compulsory state registration during the transitional period until 2012.
