The Committee on Science and Education recommends the Parliament to adopt the Bill on Amendments to several Laws of Ukraine regarding Activity of Research Parks

The bill (Reg. No.6553) regulates economic activity of research parks, determining the legal entities granted the state assistance in the implementation of the research parks projects as envisaged by the effective Law "On Research Parks." The bill also specifies the principles on lease rights for the property of higher educational establishments and/or research institutions.

 

The Laws "On Lease of the State and Public Property" and "On Research Parks" shall be amended. The People´s Deputies emphasised that the amendments improved and ordered the economic activity of both research parks and their partners.

 

The bill also envisages that the executive body of the research park department submits a general report on the work of the research park to the higher educational or research institution on their request and to the specialized central executive authority body in charge of scientific-research and innovation activity.
