The Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism recommends the Parliament to adopt the Bill on Supplements to Clause 37 of the Law "On Physical Culture and Sports" (re Insurance of Competitors) in the Second Reading

The bill (Reg. No. 5137) supplements the Law "On Physical Culture and Sports" with a provision, whereby the competitors are obliged to have a life and health insurance during the period of the competition.  

 

Adjusting the bill to the second reading, the Committee members endorsed the motion, whereby life and health insurance of the competitors is the binding condition for holding of a sports competition. Organizers of the sports competition shall provide life and health insurance of the competitors. The Cabinet of Ministers shall set the order of insuring life and health of the competitors, and the procedure of insurance claim.
